Manitou Portuguese Water Dogs began when we brought home our first show girl, Reba. After Reba arrived one snowy December many years ago, PWDs and their versatility took over our lives and we haven't look back since.
Manitou PWDs is located in northern Michigan, near Lake Charlevoix. Our current 'kids,' Moxie, Reva and MoJo, live with us, Chuck and Vicki Robinson. We enjoy sharing the highs and lows of the breed with families who are interested in becoming parents to a PWD--it's not a breed for the faint of heart!
